Physician Referrals To U.S. For Physician Specialist Services
If you are sick or need to see a specialist sooner than one is available in
Ontario - now you have a choice.
Ontario patients who need treatment for specialist treatments such as
orthopedic (like knee or hip replacements), neurology, cancer, dermatology or
urology may be referred to the U.S. for treatment.
For some clients, access to a specialist’s assessment is the goal.
For
others, specific treatment or a medical procedure is required.
Working
cooperatively with selected physician groups in the U.S., VIP Docs Inc. can
arrange for you to access hospital services for assessment, second opinions,
treatment, surgery and rehabilitation at Buffalo General Hospital.
Estimates of assessments and
treatment are available on request. Most services are not covered by OHIP.
